Carrie and Jeff who were engaged for 4 years, decided to take the plunge and plan an Earth Day wedding at a historic barn outside the city of brotherly love. The day the pair tied the knot was a rainy and cloudy day, which made the venue seem even more cozy than it already is. With personalized details like having a friend serenade the guests as the couple and wedding party walked down the aisle, or having a polaroid at the check in table to create a visual guest book, their family and friends were able to enjoy first hand, and few of the couple’s favorite things.
The couple met in Philly via a mutual friend, and a short while into their relationship, Jeff accepted a job in California. Carrie + Jeff engaged in a long distance relationship until Carrie decided to take the plunge and join him in the sunny state. After they got engaged, they thought long and hard about where to get married, and ultimately they decided to become Mr. and Mrs. in the state where they fell in love. It was a beautiful day filled with more love than could possibly be put into words!
I had a hard time narrowing the selection of images that I planned to share, so for your enjoyment here are quite a few of my favorite captures from the day! You can also view the album via my Portfolio by clicking here.
