Each year The Knot enlists the help of local vendors to throw a big party in each of their markets. This year, I was the lucky photographer to be chosen to capture the Orange County event which was designed and coordinated by Pure Lavish Events. The bash was held at the gorgeous Montage Laguna Beach, and the team at Pure Lavish decided to throw a Polynesian themed soiree. Everything was designed to a “t” including ice sculptures (one was a drink dispenser!) created by Carving Ice, gorgeous outdoor daybeds by Jake Duke Studios, and evening entertainment which included belly dancers and fire by Polynesian Paradise. There was also a coffee bar by Canabru Coffee, delicious pork tacos by Canyon Catering, a huge Photo Booth by Focus Photo Suites, a traveling bartender (OMG!) by Bottles + Blooms, Timree a live event painter, and a special Snapchat filter for the evening designed by Filter Swipe. For additional decor there were one-of-a-kind linens by Luxe Linen, exotic plants brought in by Creative Plant Rentals, and paper design by Jen Simpson Design. Then the entertainment…well they were right on beat! The evening opened with a reggae band called Undercover Live, then there was music provided by DJ Kreiger and it was all tied together with lighting and staging by Atmosphere Entertainment + Above the Top Events. Talk about incredible!
